It certainly does seem that people are less comfortable seeing tasteful photos of men because they normally have more emotion to them, rather than being purely sexual. I know, at least here in the US, male <em>sensuality</em> is not as well received as male <em>sexuality</em>, although neither is normally seen outside of niche markets. Who knows.
