Well, it’s been awhile since I last updated, so I figured a new photo dump would be an appropriate update.
I have been experimenting even more with Polaroids lately. I find the instant prints to be so easy to do, that I can’t help myself. The convenience is a great aspect of it. However, I certainly wouldn’t turn down using one of my film cameras. I actually have five or six rolls of film that need to be developed. Once Summer gets here, I will have time to develop them and scan them. Until then, Polaroids will be the only thing showing up on the blog.
Love these … I always find it difficult to find artistic and tasteful photos of men …. why is that?
Who knows. It certainly does seem that people are less comfortable seeing tasteful photos of men because they normally have more emotion to them, rather than being purely sexual. I know, at least here in the US, male sensuality is not as well received as male sexuality, although neither is normally seen outside of niche markets.
I agree. Most individuals I encounter have trouble discerning between sensuality and sexuality, erotica and pornography, art and trash. It’s a shame really. Not so much an issue when I lived in Scandinavia and Northern Europe. Perhaps I should focus my search for images to accompany my work to those parts of the world. Again, enjoyed these – keep it up. There is teaching to be done!
